thanks everyone 🙂 it is hard.. i dont know why people do the things they do.. one of my close friends refuses to answer my texts calls etc.. i guess i have to be strong and not care as much as i used to.. i just wish as horrible as it sounds that they knew how it felt to be me for just one day.. to feel the strain the effort it is to do the things i do to cope... in a way dealing with what i am at a young age has made me stronger is suppose.. i guess that is the only posative thing to come out of this, it does make you a stronger person 🙂 ... hey samex did u have radiotherapy after your chemo? my boyfriend is having it for six weeks straight along with his bottle of chemotherapy.. after that the plan is to do the sugery to remove the tumor from his colon then do lung/liver surgery to remove any scar tissue... ... View more

thanks sailor! 🙂 i do try my best... they use all these names and things i get confused about which is which.. my bf is pushing through he's started radiation now only had it 4 times we're just waiting for the side effects to kick in.. he has a bottle attached to him for 6 weeks every single day along with radiotherapy! he's not a happy chappy but he has to do it.. 🙂 ... hi purple star, my partner has colon cancer and was on avastin and something else with 'fox' in it for 6 months and it shrunk the cancer in the lymph nodes and the spots on his lung and liver to basically nothing.. it did its job! they said it was a full on dose of chemo for agressive cancer so it did help 🙂 my boyfriend found it ok he didnt vomit he felt sick for a bit, and he still has no feeling in his fingertips... they said that should come back after a few months tho... he tried drinking a few herbal teas but like you it didnt help, he's found that by eating what his body wants works for him.. during chemo sessions id bring him salad sandwhiches and energy drinks which helped a lot.. they also say that adding butter to your diet helps during chemo :) best of luck xo ... look Dpc i understand ur partners been recently diagnosed.. cancer is a long scary journey.. we like to have some sense of control.. im seeing my bf beat cancer with mental mind and treatments.. food may prevent this horrible disease but it cannot cure it.. cancer has been around for many years and they have proof that medicine and treatments wrk.. i knw my partner loves chocolate it makes him sane and happy.. he is defiying stats at the moment with inner strength and determination.. have ypur opinions but remember everyone has them.. my bfs oncologist has studied this for more years than you he has seen it all.. that was all i was trying to prove.. best of luck with ur diet rules! ... im sorry i agree with sailor as my bfs oncologist points out theres no evidence that sugar can worsen cancer.. i believe this as seeing my bfs diet yet he is recovering.. sugar isnt the best thing but it cannot do much more harm.. cancer is a bad make up of cells.. look at people with lung cancer that have never smoked before.. cutting out bad foods might make you feel better but i believe they cannot help cure cancer as there is no medical evidence for this ...
