thank you.. just today i was speaking to a lady whos brother had cancer it got so bad he went into a coma.. they actually gave him chemo while he was in a coma and then they told her it was time to say goodbye.. she told me the next morning he was up eating breakfast... just proves that u dont really have to believe what they tell u.

my boyfriend is having his first scan since chemo next monday and im so scared! he's excited.. me on the other hand im so nervous i feel sick.. i hate waiting! i dont want him to stop chemo if the tumor hasnt shrunk 😞 he's side effects from chemo are getting worse i think, he seems sicker and his nerves are a bit funny.. but he's still fighting strong.

i think thats great he is fighting fit.. i often think if the cancer patient has the right mind frame they have the right way of doing it. My bf has stage four bowel cancer, he's doc said his prog wasnt good either, but he's kinda ignoring it and staying positive... i think if the person wants to die, and give up then they do.. best of luck xo

my bf is battling bowel cancer.. his doc said no to change his diet.. he doesnt he eats crap, a lot of chocolate.. does anyone think that diet helps cancer? i know people say it does but my bf is eating healthy just eating maccas soemtimes and chocolate! he loves chocolate

5 year olds are very wise! my little sister is 5, she knows whats going on.. so cute they are. Im very much the same with vomit! i clean anything else but when it comes to vomit i vomit myself.. its disgusting! haha

hey there,
very sorry for your loss... im scared i may have to go through the same thing. They say that grief not only is emotional but physical to... i read a book where one lady said she had aching bones and sore legs.. why not run yourself a hot bath with a good book? that always helps me when im feeling at my worst.. Watching tv is good, try to stay away from depressing movies.. this can only get easier.. it wont happen overnight but it'll happen one day.. you'l move on but you'l never forget which is what you want. You will get through this!

hmm this is a hard one! i guess when its your father there is not much you can do... how come u can only have help for six weeks? if you feel like putting him in a nursing home is wrong then dont do it.. having cancer makes you want to be close to your family and friends.. can your brother help you out at all?

yes miracle babys do happen! my mum got told she was sterile after having my second youngest sister, she was 12 when she had my little sister.. mum was 43! who would think that after 12 years mum would have a baby? these things do happen 🙂

each day is getting harder, im just starting to accept it more... it still seems surreal.. my bf is having his scan in 3 weeks and im so nervous.. what if its bad? what if the chemo hasnt worked? he's had 4 rounds already.. should this have done something? i live in fear everyday and ive had enough 😞

im sorry to hear about your husband 😞 it must be hard when you have a child.. my bf has cancer and i sometimes think maybe we should have a child before anything happens.. but then everyone thinks i shouldnt.. its so hard, venting on this site helps me a lot.. i also just try and stay posative no matter what people say.. i guess its the only way to be..
