Hi Alwk. My heart goes out to you being on the receiving end of you Husbands anger. It is not right or ok that he lashes out. Please let him know about his behaviour and get support/ counselling I have gone through the whole a chemo and radiation. It has such an impact on the partner / caregiver. please at least reach out to the Cancer Council 131112 and ask for assistance good luck & take care of yourself.

Hi. There JuliaOO. All very different experiences for everyone. my hair started falling out about 2weeks after my first Chemo there are things when you are going through treatment that you do have control over and of course things you don’t . So I took control 2 week in and got it shaved and Never looked backed Regards the itchy scalp I continued to condition my scalp/hair with hair conditioner and it was not a problem for me. Hi Chris. love your work I feel each persons Cancer journey is a unique story be it the feelings you have emotionally or physically from the side affects from the treatment i also feel that there is a connectedness with others who have also had Cancer just through the fact that they have or have had Cancer also. I swing both ways on that It gives you strength you maybe never knew you had to fight a Battle you never thought in a million years you would have to fight. 💜💜

Hi Mistress 1 A shock to your system in more ways than one. I was diagnosed withNHL 2006 and been Allclear since 2007 I would suggest you calling Cancer Council and asking about a service they offer call Cancer Connect, which is a one to one peer support with someone’s who has had a similar as possible diagnose as you have and had treatments as close as they can match with you. And get them to give you a phone call and ask them questions Good luck moving forward.

Hi. I think the worry around ct scans and blood test time is normal 12 year cancer free and I stopped the whole blood tests thing because I found I was just stressing out about the whole thing. It got to the point that every time my yearly checkup was approaching my wife would be able to tell my yearly checkup is approaching #stress
