Hi @Katekat !! Thanks so much for that information. She's doing ok... Had a bit of a scare with her arm port clotting up but lucky she's super on top of every little thing, so we went to emergency right away. She's actually done pretty well and coping well with the chemo... Sometimes I need to tell her to stop trying to do so much... Chemo does knock her around for a few days after though. We're thinking of getting transferred to Peter Mac for surgery and radiotherapy after having chemo done at Epworth. Everyone at Epworth are soo nice but the costs are starting to mount up through the public system. Do you have any advice in regards to public v private? ... View more

Hi @tobzko,   Thanks for joining the Online Community.   Sorry to hear of your fiance's diagnosis, you've taken a great step though in joining the forum, it's a great place to seek support for the journey ahead!   As a starting point, have a search via the search bar up at the top of the page for topics on breast cancer, chemo, or even food etc. There's a lot of great threads out there containing the information you seek.   Another suggestion I have for you, why not create a topic and treat it like a diary of your experiences?
