Although you wont feel like it you must try and exercise even if it is for a short time and try to built it up each day it will help you with the fatigue aspect.  I have done this myself and it was recommended to me by a cancer nurse.  Do you have friends you can ring up and talk to them maybe you could go and meet them and ask them about their lives and get yourself out this will be a thing to get you out of bed.  If you stay in bed you will lose strength in your legs which could make you feel worse.  Please dont be negative about your life it wont help you.   ... Hi Mandy, I was thinking it would take awhile for his hair to grow back.  He is using biotene rinse for dry mouth and distilled water to flush out his dry and stuffy nose. Thankfully a nurse told him not to use tap water for that. He can taste sweet things almost normal and other foods taste ok. It is hard for him to chew and swallow meat and potatoes and fish even with drinking to wash it down. His weight is stable for several weeks now and actually gained a pound. Hello, and welcome. On your question about CBD after treatment for thorat cancer. All I can tell you is what works for me and my own personal opinions. I am not a scientist or medical professional. I began taking CBD when the Dr's said I needed a total Laryngectomy and would live with a trach the rest of my life. I could not swallow very well and had already had some close calls with choking.  I got the tincture, the same type you have. Mine was 1000 mg. I took it daily for about six weeks. Now, mind you, I could not talk and my vocal cords were radiation damaged and I was told they would not only NOT heal, but would continue to get worse for about 3 years.  I am now out of treatment for almost a year.  I can speak clearly, can swallow almost my vocals cords are  good as I used to. I have had treatment recently for tonsil cancer, the thick spit is awful. I rinse and gargle all the time with bicarb and water about a quarter of a teaspoon  in a cup of water , I don’t swallow it . Hi joe thx for advice , throat pain is slight discomfort , just taking panadol now and again . No appetite at all yet . Am doing mouth stretching excersises , lots of thick gunk in my throat , rinsing with bicarb and water . Will try the ice cream and the cream cheese recipe  .
