Hi Poppy, sounds like you love your best friend and have had lots of years together. It’s totally ok to feel so devastated and heartbroken. So sorry you can’t visit her because of Covid, I understand the heartbreak of that as  I couldn’t visit my mum in aged care for the same reason.
