I am glad my mum is home. I am grateful that she has access to highly respected specialists, that she lives in an area with excellent medical facilities, that she has caring friends and strong faith, that she still makes a great latte, takes pleasure in her garden, finds peace in her music, speaks wisdom and love to her grandchildren. I am grateful that she is braver than I am as she faces more treatment.
