Dad passed away last night. It was actually like what people say - it was peaceful. We were all there in his room and his breathing stopped and he turned white. I tried to find a nurse and when I came back to the room he breathed again. I got the nurse. He took his last breath and she took his pulse. He was gone. I'm so sad. But I'm glad he's not lying there anymore. But part of me doesn't believe it. I miss him already.

Hi All, I'm new to blogging and to this site. I'm hoping to learn about anyone out there diagnosed with Adrenal Cancer. It's very rare and is basically tumors on the lungs. My sister-in-law was diagnosed 2 years ago while pregnant with their second child. My little niece was born by c-section at 27 weeks and 4 days after her being born my sister-in-law had surgery to remove a tumor off her adrenal glad. 6 months after that she was told it had spread to her lungs and now her liver. Has anyone ever heard of this type of cancer before and can anyone offer any advice??

Today I am reading posts by other people on here and the tears are rolling down my face. I wish I knew what to say to these poor people but I have no idea. I have just been watching the doctors on tv and they talked about a guy who had melanoma under his toenail and hadn't been sick and was already at stage 3. He died 15 months later. OMG this is so scary. I wish the hospital would check Darryn over because I am going nuts not knowing anything. Why do I watch these shows?

Today is such a lovely day I am sitting out in the back yard. My boyfriend has just bought a new car and is working on it fixing up a few things, he loves to tinker and he is enjoying fiddling with his new car. I am glad he has something to keep him busy as he gets very grumpy when he nothing to do. We still know noting more about what is going on with him as far as the melanoma goes but he is happy and I guess at this stage that is the most important thing. I am trying to be like him and not worry and doing ok at it today.

So, weeks have passed like days recently & I haven't had time to update- but now I am here, and finally I can tell you that there has been no change which is FANTASTIC!!!!! So it's business as usual, in 2 weeks he will be starting round 5 of chemo. And in 4 weeks we will be moving into our new home!! Our house sold before it was put on the market, so it meant that I didn't have to have home opens (which might I add was a difficult thought- how we were going to do that on chemo weeks would be difficult)
