I was told by a nurse that many people take their own pillows,sometimes sheets ,into hospital because it helps them to sleep better . Nowadays most people are sent home to recover from operations much earlier than in the past . One of the reasons is that most are happier at home .

Sorry you are having such a bad time dealing with mix-ups and mistakes on top of the cancer . As for being told it could be all over in 2 - 3 months ,the doctor is trying to give you an idea of when . I doubt he is sure ,just estimating to help you to be prepared in some way . It must be so difficult .

I don't have any knowledge of this condition .I had never heard of it before . I can only say that I am sorry you and your partner have to go through what must be a frightening ordeal and more so because you have a young daughter . People may think you are strong when you don't feel that way to be encouraging and maybe you are stonger than others would be in the same situation . In a way you have to be for your daughter's sake .You don't want to fall apart so you are holding it all together .I hope you have some family support and the support of friends . I think you will hear from others here who may be able to answer your question .

For some it does get easier in some ways as time goes on but every case is different .It is very sad that at a time when couples need to mutually support each other things can tear them apart ,through no fault on either side . Another reason to say that cancer sux. I do hope things will improve for you .
