I don't think anyone deserves any cancer,smoker,ex-smoker or always non-smoker. The first time some hear of someone getting cancer,especially lung cancer,they ask if the person smokes/smoked. It takes more than one factor to lead to cancer,in my opinion. I have a cancer that is not linked to any known cause .

So sorry,Ramute and Ron,that you have so much pain. Although one can get used to some level of pain and suffering ,there is a threshhold that varies from one individual to the next. No one can really know how much pain another feels so it is good to share and learn from each other. Sometimes some get ideas to try.

I had surgery in April,2010 and nerve pain for 3 months after until a nurse told me to see my gp . I was prescribed Lyrica and life improved greatly. I still take it .I would go crazy without it.

Not being fond of cooking ,I am only insulted when I come home from my night dance class to find a baked dinner waiting. He loves my baked dinners and I've told hom to ask whenever he wants one. Still he goes ahead, when I'm doing something else , and cooks them . I was kidding,as I was only insulted the first few times. Now I just say thanks and enjoy it.
I'm pretty easy going ,I suppose . Most women seem to like cooking . Have a happy Easter.

The unknown can be scary. Even though you may or may not have cancer and if so,in an early stage it appears ,it is natural to worry. When you know where you stand it's easier to deal with it. All the best.

I have heard so many stories of such mix-ups. There is no excuse if double checks are done . By now systems ought to be in place to overcome human error. It's bad enough dealing with illness without dealing with mistakes which should noy occur.
