Hey Mazza, you poor thing! The clampets are great...Elly has decided she enjoys gardening,as in replanting everything in the garden!!!Jed just watches and enjoys it when she gets into trouble(typical big brother).I agree,I am so very lucky to have them,they make me laugh so many times everyday and they are there for a hug when I feel down.Best thing ever invented!!! Mark and I got engaged today..I wonder if the fact that he chose Fri 13th has any significance???

Hi Inga, what a wonderful message!Like you,I wish I knew how to get my photos from camera to computer! I can go for nearly a whole day without thinking about pancreatic c-word,I walk my dogs on the beach every day....my saviours! Did you hear about the cross-eyed teacher?.....couldn't control her pupils..... I've got heaps of jokes but that is the only clean one I know!!!!!

hi mazza thanks for your support.i'm over what happened,and as per usual can see the funny side!The old adage "crime doesn't pay"certainly applied to the idiots who decided to pick my car! Never mind,I went to the specialist on thurs and got a great report,so a stolen purse and smashed window has been put into perspective!

Hi Oldman' I think it can become something we need so as not to think about everything! I can drink a bottle of bacardi in 3 sessions and not feel any effects. I also think that we feel,what the heck...we've got cancer,so what does it matter what else we do????? I keep you in my prayers......good luck with everything

Hi Mazza, Thanks for the support!!!Luckily the one thing my stupid body can tolerate is pasta,helps with the energy levels!I do so miss chocolate and mars bars and toast with lots of butter and vegemite(doesn't taste the same on dry toast!)and all the other sweet,fatty foods I can no longer tolerate!!!!I didn't eat them that often before but I drool like one of my labs when I see them now!!

Hi guys,I really think it is a battle we have to wage..I was diagnosed with stage 3 pancreatic cancer and ,even after 2.5yrs,I still battle this everyday. The biggest thing is to enjoy every day the best way you can.That's,to me, the one thing we have that the general population don't have.After going through this we know what's important!!!!If you think about it,we're the lucky ones

Hi guys, My body has gone into meltdown but my brain won't shut off. Been thinking about my babies i.e Jed and Ellie May,and how much they have helped in my recovery.Well,one thing lead to another and the bright idea I came to is,"why don't we do a calender.Anyone on the site can send in a photo of their pet...birds,cats,mice,horses anything.Obviously we won't get this organised in time for this christmas but maybe we could do a June to June cal,or even a July to Dec(18mths).I know a lot of people who would buy one,anyone else think this is do-able?

Hi guys I am feeling really peed off at the moment. As I have mentioned before I am entering the city to surf.Part of getting ready is walking my 2 beautiful dogs every morning(rain hail or shine).After walking in the rain for an hour today,I got back to my car and some d...h...s had smashed the back window of my car and stolen my purse out of the glovebox!I am really p'd off.I had about $3 in my purse but I now have to replace a back window plus all my cards(including my licence!). Just so you all know,I really expect a lot of support in the city to surf considering this set back......does anyone else feel like sometimes everything is against us?I can handle all the money it's going to cost to replace things but what I am really upset about is the fact that I had messages and notes from my family from when I was in hospital and I can't replace them! I know there must be a reason for this but I am still trying to figure it out

hi helen, me again!one of the things i didn't get from the chat(i probably should've asked)but how do other people cope with the lack of appetite?I don't know if it is the fear of feeling sick after eating but it is sometimes easier not to eat.....does anyone else feel the same way?
