stargazer I am so sorry to read of the loss of your husband. I am sure you do feel a bit empty at the moment after all that caring. THat is one of the hard things with losing someone that has required a lot of care. I remember when my dad passed away my mum was a bit lost for a while until she managed to rebuild her every day life a bit. My dad required care for 12 years pretty much until he passed. I do also Kim ... thanks and this is my second lot of fostering. The first was an older kitten which my son called "Tyrion". These three seem to have adopted the names of "Runtsville aka as Runty, Squeak ( is the little girl) and Porky (for obvious reasons). Am just washing all my bedding as I forgot to put one of the kittens back to bed last night before I fell asleep. Hey Kim I think you will cry when you are ready. I didn't cry when I was diagnosed ... there is so much going on and I can relate to the bit where you don't want to go there for fear of not being able to stop. Glad your mum and kids are doing ok ... I am sure by your attitude that things are as good as they can be under the circumstances. I have my 3 foster kittens here at the moment and they are growing and playing and eating me out of house and home!! misskim My mother was in her 80's when I was diagnosed with my last cancer. It is tough as you worry about them, aswell as you worry about your kids (in my case one child). I hope you get the same reaction to your chemo that I got. My pain started to ease a lot after the 1st dose. If you still have problems with pain, ask to see a pain specialist. gn wow you have had a time with your rash. I had a bad rash from cetux and it was all through my scalp and ended up on antibiotics. I remember it itching so badly and my skin being sooooooo dry.
