Hi Tammy Don't feel guilty about palliative care. I think you have to think that your husband wouldn't want you to feel that way. Often it is a better option for people and allows them to be better partners than if they were having to take on all the roles that is associated with being a carer. I personally only wore hats or beanies but I met a woman at treatment one day and she looked incredibly smart. She had made herself a turban that coordinated with her top. She looked really lovely and I think it helped her in that she had something that she could manage to make & create while undergoing treatment. Don't forget the Look Good Feel Good clinics either. Hey Sailor Good to hear from you and how life and cancer is going for you. :) Although, not so great to hear that you are still having to pursue clinical trials. I had a chuckle at you being castrate resistent and have to admit that I thought most males might be that way! I do hope that this trial can help you and stop the spread of your cancer. Life here is just trying to survive survivorship and all that, that entails - which one would think would be easy but it isn't necessarily. Maddie unfortunately, you are going through what a lot of cancer survivors go through and that is being forced to make life changes that we don't necessarily want to do and then having to come to terms with it.
