My heart is breaking, in January I had to tell our young sons that their Daddy wasn't going to get better from the cancer that had invaded his body. It was the hardest thing I have ever had to do (so far).
The poor darlings, they are only 6 and 8 years old, life has changed so much for them already and the future looks anything but rosy.
The emotional burden on all of us is just too hard. The insecurity and anxiety is at an all time high. Everyone is on edge.
My heart is breaking and it still has to keep beating.
Cancer Council NSW would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we live and work.We would also like to pay respect to elders past and present and extend that respect to all other Aboriginal people.
