Throat Cancer - a blow by blow

The month of November is Lung Cancer Awareness month across Australia, and this year alone, roughly 11,000 Australians will be or have been diagnosed.

Tomorrow, Friday 24th of August is Daffodil Day across Australia.

This year, there's a special musical addition 'For Someone I Know', written and recorded by one of our Daffodil Day Ambassadors, Timothy James Bowen.

I wrote a blog today about Daffodil Day and supporting my children.

I became a young widow and single mother to two children under five years of age when my husband died from brain cancer (GBM) in 2012.

Bowel cancer is the second most common cancer in Australia, with an estimated 15,000 people diagnosed each year. 1 in 21 men and 1 in 30 women will develop bowel cancer before they turn 75. Whilst it’s more common in people over 50, you could be any age.
