CA19-9 now 14000. No decrease at all during chemo. Husband has decided to cease chemo as the last 3 weeks have not been kind. Extreme fatigue, abdominal pain and DVT pain in right calf. Not sleeping very well at all. One benefit - farting has decreased dramatically!! Handing it all over to our Creator and Lord, Jesus Christ. 🙂 Hopefully the effects of chemo will go (if it is the effects of chemo being observed) and there might be some improvement in the short term.

6 months of lonliness. The days pass with exhaustion, anger, regret and fear. Time stops, speeds up and all throughout I feel lost. At times, abet few, I feel 'myself', then I am hit with the loss and am taken aback by the grief. I am frightened that time passing will take me away from this and that memories will fade. I am just so angry with all of this!

Just complete 4th treatment of 12 treatment cycle. CA 19-9 result is 9600 😞 Was 1200 at diagnosis (mid Nov), 2062 at post op check up (mid Jan) and 6050 2 weeks ago (10 March) 😞 Not sure what is going on but as the tumour was inoperative and has metastisized... does this mean the chemo is having no effect? Two gastric bypasses performed instead of a Whipple.

its been over a year since mum passed away. in the past few months i cant even look at her pictures. when i feel sad i push it out of my mind. i feel numb when it comes to thinking of mum. is this normal to feel numb? i feel scared that if i let my self go and really feel my pain i wont handle it...am i not letting myself grieve?
