I understand, it's a shitty experience to go through and none of us should have to but unfortunately we do. I had some really hard times through my treatment over the last 18 months, and have found even after the treatment stops, it is still so hard. Hi Amy, We had a similar diagnosis in our family and we were devastated when we heard the news, however some how she got another 5 years in her life before sadly passing earlier this year. But that was 5 years the doctors didn't give her. Then there was an instance of another family member who was given 6 months....and died in less than a few weeks. Either way...there is no way of knowing what is going to happen and you will need support, happy for you to chat, but just take each day at a time. I was very tired too after radiation, it's when I napped the most! But have noticed that on chemo now on the fourth cycle, I am starting to get more tired. I think the chemo has similar effects...as well as some nausea for myself, to radiation. They told me it would be hair loss in the area being treated which was my left frontal lobe, whereas I lost a bit more than that, but it seems to be slowly coming back. I have had two scans since radiation finished and there has been no movement on the tumour (or what's left of it) and radiation made an improvement. My chemo is a trial drug and I do 5 days on out of every 28 and MRI's every three months. I also think there will be lots of new things around for us to try 🙂 ... View more

Hi Karina, I am currently going through treatment for a brain tumour and I know that it is a life long thing, I think about the future far too much! That's really positive. I think the more positive you can be in a dull situation, the chance is higher for getting through it all. I recently was diagnosed with a brain tumour and I have had my ups and downs don't get me wrong, but my main note is positivity, I'm not dead yet so power on and get through this.
