The National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (NACCHO) has put together an information hub for Aboriginal and Torrest Strait Islander people about COVID-19.
In early March, the Australian Federal Government convened the Aboriginal and Torrest Strait Islander Advisory Group on COVID-19, to develop and deliver a National Management Plan to protect communities and save lives.
This Taskforce is co-chaired by NACCHO as well as the Australian Department of Health, with partners from Aboriginal Health Services, the Australian Indigenous Doctors Association and the National Indigenous Australian’s Agency (NIAA) and other affiliates, including state and territory public health representatives and communicable disease experts.
You can read the agreed upon action plan here.
