Thank you for sharing your story with us @roma22, what a journey you two have had!
A carer's job is very hard indeed, so my hat goes off to you. I do hope you continue to enjoy your time together, it sounds like you have had an amazing 48 years together
Please do keep us updated on your husband's progress and take some time to explore the site if you are able, I think you will find more than a few kindred spirits here.

Hi @Julibean,
Sorry to hear that you are experiencing that, have you double checked with your chemotherapy nurse or health professional? We have some information available here about chemotherapy and the side effects, that may help you.
Wonderful news re your CT scan results though, that must be a relief. I do hope you are feeling better soon!!
Has anyone else experienced what Julibean is going through and can offer some insight?
Kind Regards,
Kate

Hi @Julibean,
I am glad to hear that your surgery went well.
Reactions to treatment can vary with each cycle. We recommend that if do experience any bad side-effects with your supportive therapy that you contact your health professional or talk with the nurse handling your treatment.
We have a publication on understanding chemotherapy that I believe may help you with the above. You can download this as a PDF here or as an EPUB file here. An EPUB file can be read using a Kindle or similar device.
Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions and we hope to see you in the Online Community again soon.
Kind Regards,
Kate

Hello everyone,
Next week, Cancer Council NSW will be doing some necessary work on the Cancer Connections website, to prepare for the launch of the new Online Community site.
From 5:30 pm on Monday 7 November, you will not be able access the community.
We are aware that this may be an inconvenience, and we ask you to bear with us as we go through this process.
An email will be sent to members on Monday, with more information as to what you can expect during the transition. If the email address on your Cancer Connections profile is out of date, please send us an email at onlinecommunity@nswcc.org.au so you can be included in any notifications about the transition to our new Online Community.
Kind Regards,
Kate
