Hi @sue21,
How are you doing today?
There would definitely be others here who have had or have ovarian cancer, or at the very least would have gone through a similar journey.

Hi @muzza,
I just wanted to check in with you and see how you are doing today?
I am not familiar with the application of Gumbi Gumbi, here at Cancer Council we support evidence-based treatments for cancer and have reviewed material on the efficacy of Gumbi Gumbi.
Cancer Council has a website which looks at claims related to cancer treatment and assesses them scientifically. This is the page on Gumbi Gumbi which looks at what it is and whether it works to treat cancer: Gumbi Gumbi. This may be of interest to you.
Please don't hesitate to contact 13 11 20 during business hours, there may be some services or support that is available to you that would be helpful, and sometimes just talking things through with someone else can help immensely.

Hi @MGS, it's great to see you around these parts again
Sorry to hear you are experiencing muscle and joint pain, have you spoken with your treatment team about anything it?
I am not on Letrozole but I have had ongoing muscle and joint pain from an accident many years ago. I have found that gentle things like swimming or short walks, nothing strenuous, were a great help to me. Something else that helps immensely is massage from an accredited person, we have a great publication about Massage and Cancer that you may like to read.
Has anyone else experienced joint and muscle pain as part of their cancer treatment and could offer any suggestions to MGS?
You may also find this information on overcoming cancer pain of help as well MGS.
I do hope you find something that helps relieve it soon

We'd like to extend an invitation to you all to join our next webinar, which will focus on: Fear of cancer coming back – “What can I do to stop feeling this way?".
Feeling anxious and frightened about the cancer coming back (recurrence) is the most common fear for cancer survivors, especially in the first year after treatment. For some people, this fear may affect their ability to enjoy life and make plans for the future. Living with this fear has been described as a shadow on your life. Some survivors say that with time their fears lessen. However, many people still find that they worry at certain times. We will be discussing some tactics you can implement to help manage these fears.
When: Thursday, 5th April 7-8pm AEST.
Please register here - If you are unavailable to attend, you will be emailed a link to a recording of the webinar to watch at your leisure.

Hello all!
We're wanting to rename this particular forum to something more fitting.
It's purpose is for anything that doesn't really fit anywhere else. It's also your place to sit back, relax and chat with each other. You can even share photos of your cats (or dogs)!
It's also the place where people can introduce themselves and I'll keep a few sticky threads with general information up the top, but nothing too heavy.
The name General Discussion is a bit too formal I feel, so I'm throwing it open for discussion - what do you think would be a great name for this particular forum?
Cheers,
Kate
