Hi Peregrina, I also got neutropenia sepsis at the start of my chemo treatment. Ended up in hospital for 4 days on intravenous antibiotics. Hi Sharron, yes it is overwhelming when you first get diagnosed. Hopefully you can get a correct diagnosis soon and understand the treatment. I know once I started treatment the anxiety was better. Hello Mel, so sorry about your grandma and the diagnosis. It sounds like you have a wonderful relationship with her and are a blessing to each other. So heartbreaking for you💔. Hopefully the treatment will be of some help to her. If you can’t finish your degree this year I’m sure you could get compassionate leave for a while.
