Hi Carly, so sorry that your wonderful mum has gone. It’s such a dreadful time to go through, the caring and the loss😢. I lost my darling mum in 2020 after caring for her then having to put her into care. After she died I had so much guilt about many things and couldn’t move on.  A friend suggested that I write a letter to mum. Hi Richard,  I remember feeling so low like you are now at the start of my chemo treatment 😢.   I understand ♥️. I was able to get through the six rounds of chemo only with my husband and kids support. I hope you are surrounded by those who love you. That was in 2021 and I have been cancer free up till now. Hi Mary. The fluconazole was a tablet and was fine to take. My haematologist put me on it at the start of my treatment and it really helped though sometimes I still got the fungal symptoms 🤦🏻‍♀️. Ask your doctor about it ♥️ ... View more

Hi Mary, so happy that you have finished your treatment 👏!  I’m not sure about taste buds but I did always have the fungal problem on my tongue during my chemo. I was on fluconazole for the whole time and that did help! Maybe you have tried that?? Yes, Nilstat is not pleasant but I could tolerate it. Hi Mel7000, I was diagnosed with non Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2021 and had 6 rounds of chemo called RCHOP. It was very hard with the side effects and yes, waiting the results of the final pet scan was just so upsetting. For me it was good news and my treatment worked. It’s took a few months to recover from the chemo but I’m good now. Hallelujah 🙏🙏. Sorry you have to wait so long to get the scan. Hi dear Leme23, I’m so sorry for your diagnosis and understand how devastating it is for you with your precious little ones. Of course you are grieving about it all😢. Once you get a proper diagnosis and a treatment plan it might give you a lot more hope. Your oncologist will do the absolute best treatment for you so just trust them with getting you through this. Hi Greg, I was diagnosed in January 2021 after finding a lump in my neck. I had 6 rounds of chemo 3 weeks apart and my treatment was successful.
