PP Thanks for sharing your journey with us.  I just had surgery a few days ago to remove a few lumps from under my armpit.  Maybe later my feelings will change if I find out I do have cancer. Right now the waiting is difficult for my family and I.  It feels like we are always waiting.  Waiting to see a doctor, waiting to get a date for images, waiting for them to come back, waiting to hear what they found, waiting for CT scan day,  waiting for results, waiting for surgery day and waiting on biopsy results.. Because people like yourself sharing their journey with people who don't know helps . I feel guilty because I don't think what I have is anywhere as bad as others are dealing with. Linda    Thanks for the kind reply.  Surgery was done 4 days ago to remove the 2 lumps. My wife was with me until I was taken into OR. It was actually a enjoyable time for us. The waiting part to get test results sucks.  It's harder for my wife and kids.  I stay busy and try not to count hours left in the day.  I'm expecting results by Tuesday or Wednesday.  Hope all is well with you  ... I hope you are doing well.  I'm waiting for my biopsy results to come in.  I understand that you were going through.  I believe we go through different stages as we move forward.  For me I'm in stage 4. Stage one was finding the lumps  Stage 2 was waiting on the ultrasound and CT scan results.  Stage 3 was getting the biopsy.  Stage four is more waiting.  5 will be getting results and either being done or deciding if or what treatment I need.  I'm ok with not having to go through more stages.  Stay strong  ...
