Hi Suzanne
Getting a cancer diagnosis, and then having to make decisions regarding your treatment, is a lot to come to terms with. If you're in Australia, you could call the Cancer Council's 13 11 20 telephone support line. The line is open Monday to Friday 9-5, the line is manned by Allied Health workers. They can offer you emotional and clinical support. They won't be able to tell you what direction to go in regarding your treatment, but they will be able to speak to you about it. The 13 11 20, line can also provide you with emotional support and speak to you about the other support services the Cancer Council offer.
If you're not in Australia, it may be worth considering speaking to your GP or consultant at the hospital for how you can access support to help you get through this period. Lot of people reach out for extra emotional support, after a cancer diagnosis.
I hope you get the support you need.
