Hi everybody, I found out last Friday that my best friend has cervical cancer. She is 32 and very scared that she may not be able to have children. She is very positive but I just don't know how to be with her as I am so upset and feel so helpless. She is due to have an MRI scan on Wednesday to find out what stage the cancer is at. Please can anyone give me any positive experiences or help me to understand what I should expect to hear when I call her on Wednesday. In fact any insight to this would be helpful. I want to say the right things to her to help her get through.

Hi everyone. Today I found out that my dear friend's mother has liver cancer. I am a true believer in the power of positive thinking and desperately would like to send his mother a book or something that has been put together of the survivors out there and their success stories. I really want to to help this lady believe that she has a chance in fighting this disease. Does anyone know of any good books that I could take a look at? Many thanks April.
