Sending you both positive thoughts. This bloody cancer is soul destroying. My partner was always cold also. He would sleep in his dressing gown and a beanie often.... Mornings were never good for him especially as he never slept well even with the pain meds. I wish I could say more to help...but know that I am thinking of you.

Hi Patches No medical person has the right to make that decision for you. The patient has full rights. If you wish to take your husband home and he wants that also...the Drs must comply with your wishes. Please do what makes him happy. There is always home nursing available.

Hi Patches Good luck with your family meeting. My partner made the decision to quit chemo as it made him feel so bad. I was actually relieved that he made the decision. It was terrible having him go through neutropenia and sepsis..... I know that he felt a huge relief once he made that decision and just to enjoy what time he had. Thinking of you both x

Hi Patches A very stressful time for you.... Make sure that you ask many questions to the staff. I found that the nurses were more helpful and honest than the Drs.... They deal with this all the time so are really good. Just keep up with good pain relief. Sending positive thoughts x

Hi Patches I lost my partner to pancreatic cancer. It eventually spread to his liver and spine. In a short time he was unable to even walk unassisted to the toilet. He was told he needed to have radiotherapy otherwise he would be paralysed. 6 weeks after that he died. It did nothing to help with pain which they said it would and he still couldnt walk for more than a few metres. I regret that he was put through that when we knew he was declining. It really is quality of life and not quantity. I feel for you and your husband... This disease is soul destroying
