Today Sergio and I met with my Oncologist again and I decided to go ahead with Chemo. Next week on the 24th May it's "C" day. Must be honest, I am not looking forward to it, but I figure that the sooner it gets started, the sooner it gets finished. Right ????
Hi all,
Well l had my second chemo cycle yesterday and again all went well. 2 down and two to go. The past week l felt almost normal, apart from the hair l have started to lose. The cats and l seem to be in competition as to who can shed the most. I think l am ahead by a whisker.
I found that during my first cycle the third day was my worst, I was hoping that someone would break into my home and shoot me dead, but by Monday I was glad they hadn't as I felt good. I have been amazed how different each day can be, and how quickly things can change. The first week was fairly blah but not really bad. By the second week I was even starting to feel normal. Has anyone else been fortunate enough to feel the same way. I sure hope so for your sake.
Now I am at the 2 chemo down and 2 to go.
How is everyone else going. I know that I am very fortunate that I only have 1 round of chemo to get through and not everyone is that lucky. Even though I don't post much I do think of you all and hope that you are doing as well as you can.
Hugs to you all
Elayne
