Here we can say almost anything .As long as we don't hurt or offend others. It's funny that we can say things so easily here ,often when we can't say them to our nearest and dearest. It's almost like leading another life away from the real world ,yet this world is real to us too,just not to outsiders. Is that how you see this or am I the only one?

Not enough is written about stomas, not just on this blog, but generally. Here are five things you wouldn't know about 'having a bag' unless you've had one. 1: I now fart in a more controlled manner. No more holding in wind, clenching muscles and worrying if the person next to me is going to smell it. Having a bag means that all gas is safely collected and ready for release at my convenience. Now that's civilized.

Last week I was diagnosed with Vulva cancer. Apparently it is rare and mostly women over 70 get it. I am 51. I haven't seen the specialist yet. They say it is slow progressing and not to worry. Well I am. Although I have read up on it I don't know what stage mine is or what to expect. The whole thing is freaking me out just a tad!

Hi My name is Deb, My reason for Blogging is that my darling Fiancée has been diagnosed with Perotid Gland Cancer on the 10th June 2011 since that day we have been to hell and back, and the ride hasn't stopped yet.. Tomorrow we start another chapter in his recovery. We are on our way to the hospital for the planning session for the radiation therapy.

My radiation finished 2 weeks ago. The next day I had a TIA - mild stroke. I'm fine except for being very very tired and my burns are still healing. I just can't seem to get my head around what's been happening to my body. I want so much to be pain free and back to normal.
