Hi, I have advanced bowel cancer and I'm undergoing treatment with chemo and new drug called Avastin. I would like to hear from anyone that has taken organic way of life/eating in battling cancer. I'm taking chinese herbs and I'm not convinced they are helping me, so I would like hear from anyone that is trying alternative medicine. Many thanks Purple Star

My friend passed away three weeks ago and I am taking time to grieve. Like a leech it waits for me to push my way through the mud of the week until I turn up for medication. A row of dentists chairs I take one Chemo Chemo Chemo All in a row And down the other side of the room too. She gets the leech thing out of its sterile bag now the mouth is wide open as it comes towards me wanting my blood. Now getting its pleasure by gorging on me I can tell by the silence. And all the while guided by a small and gentle hand so skilled at concealing its real intent. She even laughs a bit to distract me But I’m not fooled.

I wrote this back in 2006 when I was having a few issues with pain. From memory, I think trying to put the feeling into words helped take my mind off it (for a short time anyway) - it's better than just lying there and staring at the ceiling, waiting for it to end! Hi everyone, Just wanted to let you know I had to 'bounce' someone from the site on the weekend who was touting for business in the guise of offering support. It's a very common downside of the Internet as I'm sure you all know as people try to make money from and exploit the medium. I am hoping to be a guardian in these sort of cases but please do let me know if you see anything peculiar or that you think is suspicious and I'll sort it out.
