Well 13 mths after radiation and have been told I have microscopic cancer. Not sure on how i feel about it but the doctor told me as mine is so slow growing it shouldn't do anything for a good couple of years. Feeling not to bad. Have had to go back to work as we are struggling financially. And it is taking its toll on me with 3 young children youngest 22mths. I would love to give it up as i worry what the stress is doing to my body but we just cant afford to. Ct scan in november to see if i have lung mets so im hoping it all come back clear. Will keep you all posted

Hubby had been given the all clear in Jan 2013, told to go live life do what ever he wanted to do. We how wrong were they! Seems Hubby has complained to the Dr,s in April 2013 that his throat is sore again, has a lot of pain in the right side of his head, no they said nothing wrong with you. Well now its July 2013 & after having a biopsy done, they say there is a tumour at the base of the tongue as well as a huge ulcer too, Surgery now planned in August 2013, don't know if its a secondry cancer or a return of the first one, Waiting to results,

I am the carer for my husband who had floor of the mouth cancer and it will be 5 years in Nov. So we are learning to live the new life.

Hi, my husband has had 4 cycles of chemo,he has to have CT scans next week. If the cancer has spread or not changed the will send him down to Peter Mac for I think it was called mollicular trial therapy. Something someone told us makes me worry that this is what would happen if they thought nothing else could be done. Does any one know any thing about this? My husband has cancer in his lungs,bones, liympnodes and thyroid they haven't given it a name as they have not found a primary.

Have just come back from 8 days travelling to and staying at Port Stephens. A really wonderful place. We fished, ate, drank, saw whales, and walked. A lovely place. Back to Melbourne for 6 week scan and 8th round of Alimta. Still stable. So have now booked a river cruise in France for July next year. Fingers crossed..... Gail

Hi, just joined today, wanted to talk to people who maybe in the same situation as me. I have Appendix cancer only found out a couple of months ago, I'm still trying to get my head around all of this as it is a rare type of cancer, and not a lot is known about it. Is any one up for a chat to discuss anything about this type of cancer.
