I'm currently sitting in my in-laws living room (in England),watching one of my favorite tv shows. My husband (19 months in remission from NHL) is engrossed in a facebook game, with one eye on the TV. He's waiting to hear back about a job interview he had today. (More on that below) It is such a tranquil time, and not something I could have imagined 2 years ago, while we were going through his chemo. I wanted to share it to hopefully encourage everyone who is currently doing it tough.

June 2011. The man I fell in love with Walked in to my life, not got the first time. I had known Dale Since I was 12 and he was 17. I had crushed on him since then. After 7 years or so we were reunited. We instantly hit it off and began to Date. I knew Dale Had Brain Cancer when we started Dating, I also Knew he had a son, And Was separated.

Got our results back NO CHANGE!!! Exciting but not, we really thought there would be a little shrinkage, but no change is still awesome. It's the small things!! Ben asked the big question.... will I ever drive again??? And she responds- yes, because you have had 2 stable scans you can drive again NOW!!! OMG!!!!!! This just makes our lives so much easier!! What a relief for everyone - including Ben getting his independence back. 6 months ago I never thought I would hear these words! *** Happy dance happy dance***

Today Ben had a scan Wednesday we find out the results I'm feeling excited, nervous, panicked, anxious, nauseated then excited again. He's been so well, the best I've seen him in a long time, maybe just maybe 2013 is our year.... the year to kick 2012 to the curb! I'll report back....... with awesome news I hope!!
