Hi, I was diagnosed with Glioblastoma (GBM)Dec 2012. Diagnosis and prognosis was a huge shock as I have always been fit, active and healthy. It was the most horrific Christmas for my family and friends. The whole experience was so surreal, "this happens to other people not us". We are now coming to terms with our situation through the support and positive attitude of family, friends and medical staff.

I'm 23 years old - last month I was diagnosed with TCC in the bladder and had it removed. It was Stage 1 and my future treatment is thankfully only a cystocscopy (spelling might be off on that one!) in 3 months to check if it has returned, then at 9 months, then every 12 months.

I was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 kidney cancer and still really don't know what to expect? 12 months ago I didn't know I had cancer until my tumor ruptured and within days I had lost a kidney. With no chemo or radiation as an option for treatment I was holding on to the hope that the surgeon had been able to successfully remove all traces of the cancer. Unfortunately this was not to be and now it has spread to both lungs. Wanting to know as much as possible about what I had and after doing my own research I got fairly depressed and confused.

I got a rash from head to toe and started shredding like a snake and then i got a massive fever and got hypothermia and was vomiting,i went to hospital and got admitted and started running a million tests on me.i had allergic reaction to the antibiotics,they controlled that and i was get better but still waiting on other results to come back,ten days later results where coming back all where good was waiting on one more .next morning the doctors came in with final results and told me to sit down and started doing a spill about the reasons they where running heaps of scans and tests,well the en

One of my long bucket lists items was a river cruise in Europe. We have previously done river cruises in Russia, Cambodia/Vietnam, and Burma. We are not keen on big cruise liners, but river cruises, with < 150 people are great.
