Hi Bel, so sorry about your husband’s diagnosis. Such a hard time for you and him. And your precious little ones too. Hope you have family and friends to support you all. The only advice I can give you about finances is to consult a financial planner. I know my friend did that when her husband was dying and they got great advice. Hi Jacq, has your dad said how he feels about radiation? Or how he feels about this awful situation? I’m glad he can stay home and you will get help to care for him if necessary. Hello Jacq231, that is such sad news about your dad. I’m so sorry 😢. You are amazing looking after your parents for so many years. It’s awful that your dad has made it to 89 and now has this diagnosis. I don’t know what treatment the doctors will recommend but consider quality of life for your dad depending on what treatment. It is such a hard time of life to see your dad having to go through this.  The cost of loving 💕. I had to let my mum go and it broke my heart 💔. Hi Erica55, I can understand your feelings and it’s just a part of the start of the grieving process. Plus you would be physically and emotionally exhausted. You need to recover and it will take time. When my beautiful mum died it was so difficult. And yes, the funeral is the last thing you do for your mum and then you fall in a heap😢.  It’s now 3 years ago and I’m feeling better but still miss her every day.
