This Cancer Council resource Making decisions about your care discusses access to health systems in Australia.
Deciding on Specialist Care helps with the process of choosing a specialist.
You might also find it helpful to call the Cancer Council Information and Support line on 131120 to discuss how best to support your Aunty with services that may be available in your area. A GP who your family feels comfortable with can help with choosing specialists for treatment.

As well as other challenges, carers often find the changes to their relationships very difficult during this period. This page on the Cancer Council website may be helpful with information, practical and emotional support services for people caring for someone with cancer.

Thanks for reaching out the online community.
You may find it helpful to be in touch with the Australasian Lymphology Association who work to help people manage oedemas and lymphoedema. They have a toll free number (within Australia) to get in touch with them: 1300 935 332.
Cancer Council also has the following publication: Understanding Lymphoedema which may be useful to look at.
You can also call the health professionals on the Cancer Council Information and Support line on 131120 Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.

Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) is hosting a free breast cancer information forum in Sydney on Thursday 3 May.
Hear from breast cancer experts about the latest in treatment and care
Learn about ways to improve your emotional and physical wellbeing
Find out about local breast cancer services and supports available for you and your family
Meet others who are living with breast cancer
There will be a separate session for people living with metastatic (secondary, advanced, stage 4) breast cancer.
Health professionals are also very welcome to attend.
Date: Thursday 3 May 2018 Time: Registration and arrival refreshments from 9.00 am. Forum from 9.45 am until 3.00 pm Venue: Wesley Conference Centre, 220 Pitt St, Sydney

Hi Biris Sorry to hear about your dad. While I can't say I know what it's like to deal with a baby and a dying parent, I can empathise somewhat. My dad passed away from terminal liver cancer 6 years ago now and my mother has just been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and opting for quality of life with myself as the main carer. Dad's case was possibly an untreated case of hep c when he was a child. If you would like to talk about it anytime, I'm willing to listen if you like. I found that there was very little support groups in the way of liver cancer. My dad fought it for 18 months. Please be gentle with yourself and ask for help from friends with the baby.
