I made a blog about my dad, it has since been deleted. My dad passed away on May 1st.....Not sure what they will put on the death certificate, He had cancer but only scans were done, maybe it was cancer, we overdosed him on morphine, his heart gave in because of the morphine, yes, should be interesting.....I still find it hard to believe, Mum died 12 months 3 weeks ago from cancer, now my Dad.....

Got bad news last night. My cousin died last night, 3 months after being diagnosed with liver cancer. I am torn between feeling lucky that I've had a succcessful operation and the opportunity to have chemo, and feeling a bit scared for the future. I am so gutted for her and her family. She was only 50. Is it my imagination or is there someone close being diagnosed with cancer every week? Maybe Im just more aware of it now. What do you think?

life; Imagine it from the perspective of a child. Imagine that you are happily playing outside in the late summer afternoon. It's hot. The streetlights aren't quite on, but getting close. Down the street the neighbor is mowing the grass and the smell of two-stroke exhaust and new-cut lawn fills the air.

I have started chemo at end of April 2011 and i have been keeping a journal of how i feel to help me over the next few weeks. my next treatment is in one weeks time and i have felt really good that i have i have been able to go to the gym and start a few small projects at home. (although the first week i was lucky to walk to the clothes line!) i am amazed at how teary i felt and this week i have had my hair cut off. It is not too bad but it is certainly cold now it is winter. I feel glad i bought a wig and various hats and scarves before i lost my hair.

Had my third chemo treatment last week and, by Sunday was feeling quite unwell and "down". Actually burst into tears when I couldn't eat the meal I'd prepared- even though I was hungry.
