I thought I was Coming out of limbo! That medieval imagining between heaven and hell. I was premature. Anticipating, Impatient, Before my time. Blood results came swiftly! With the usual - Insulting, letter about not Interpreting the results Myself. After twelve years, I think I know What the results mean. But at least they were Bulk billed UP, Up, up and Away! With a doubling time of Three months. Officially the latest Clinical guide says “Extremely high risk for adverse clinical outcomes” They state it so nicely! But there was the CT scan!

I recently lost my partner of two years to a brain tumor it was a very quick passing without me being able to talk to him or anything i still have moments where i get lost in myself and feel i have no where else to turn.

Hi everyone I am very privileged as I have just returned from an overseas trip. While overseas I felt that the last year was just a bad dream and that this new experience I was having was my reality and my worries had faded away and I felt pretty good most of the time. Yet I have quickly learned that everything is still the same now I am back home. I have had a pain in my shoulder for a couple of months now - when I got home I went to the doctor and she organised an ultrasound.

It has been two weeks since my darling Greg died. Where do I start? My mind has so much going through it, I feel like I need to share so much, but I am afraid that in doing so, I may create fear or pain for someone else. Someone, who may be heading down the same path, someone who has just started their journey or someone whose footsteps have echoed ours. Cancer is cruel. Once it has touched you, directly or indirectly as a carer/family member, your life is never going to be the same again.
