Hi, I had blood tests last week to see if my PSA has improved. Well the good news is that it has come down. Yeehaaa It is still high but that may due to the catheters / plumbing problems that I have been having. This is going to be checked out again next week (another hospital visit) but I don't have to have a blood test to check my PSA for another two months. I feel like I have been given a reprieve. Radiotherapy has now been pushed back - "we don't want to radiate you unnecessarily" and may not be needed at all. Another Yeehaaa

Hi There, It's been wonderful witnessing the conversations that have been evolving on this site over the past few months! Thank you all, for being couragous enough to "put it out there" - and also to the many who have provided support and empathy in response. I thought I might just let some of our newer members know about one of our groups, which you might find helpful - the expressive writing group.

In November, Greg and I attended a 'Couples Retreat' organized by the Cancer council. It involved 6 couples and two counsellors, we spent Saturday and Sunday learning about communication. One of the activities we did on the Sunday afternoon involved a labyrinth, a path made out of paving stones (I would have hated to be the one who laid them) that wound around and around, you started on the outside and ended in the middle.
