Life sucks. I feel that good people go through bad times more than the self centred people of this world. Im sure youre a great mum Naomi and your husband would be so proud of you. Ive just started seeing a great psychologist who is experienced in grieving and bereavement. Its early days but it does help just by talking to him. Hi DF The heart attack was from the chemo...….I had tests to rule out a blockage. I start my treatment back up on October 22nd hopefully.....in hospital so they can keep an eye on me. I am also going to try and chew ice chips during treatment as apparently it desensitises you from the cold side effect.....heres hoping!!! Ive had enough at the moment....just found out I also have a fistula which needs to be fixed after chemo but before the stoma reversal. *sigh*…..I never realised I ran a chinaman over hmmm lol   Stay positive Maree ... Hi,   I couldn't agree more with Phil.  When I was first diagnosed (and completely dumbfounded as there is NO cancer in my family) I was going to do everything for myself as I am a single parent of teen and that has been my MO since forever.  Once I told close family and friends, I have been overwhelmed by the kindness.  It's humbling and healing for everyone (you and them).     I am also ER and PR positive.
