Wondering how you are going Joanna as you would have had more chemo and perhaps even surgery.
Hang in there.

reindeer ... you made me giggle with your techie terms. Very haha indeed. My son is very computer techie so thats why it made me giggle. I could just imagine him reading this and thinking omgosh. lol
This is actually a new computer although we are on mobile broadband which isnt the greatest so sometimes i think problems are due to that as much as anything.
I will try what you have done and see how it goes, thanks!!

Hi PS. Thank you SO SO much for your kind words and advice. I know now that there are people out there who are or have been through what I'm going through now and I feel for you all so much. I just pray that God gives me the strength to get through this (even today my son had a car accident!!) and at the moment I don't know how much more I can take but I do know I have to support my dad and he is so positive although I know he is only being like that for me and I love him so much. Thank you all for your kind words xo Chris

Hi Robert,
Belated welcome! Best wishes for your surgery and the wait to stage the tumour is always the hardest. No arguements there. You sound like a champion, keep fighting 🙂

Hey samex ... well i have to fess up that until i read your post i commented o nthis one. I wrote something about jimmy choo shoes, which i quickly came and deleted as soon as i read your writing. I dont think you should compare yourself to the "greats". It takes some talent to be able to write as you do, so i think you are pretty great in your own right!!

I like shoes too and i do feel for you now that you cant wear what you used to. Mourning our losses is important!

Hey Bev
Good luck with your knee replacement. My mum had that done and was in less pain after the op than before and was up and walking within no time at all!!!

Hey Kym
I have kept a diary of sorts, mainly dates of when what happened. My friend bought me a diary when i was hospitalised and its been fantastic although its rather large and heavy to carry around.
I have looked back and pulled out some relevant dates which was helpful in me being able to get my peg removed. Some of the dates i found quite incredible that the amount of time had passed in between.
Good luck with it and i hope you find it useful and helpful.

Hi Samex,
You are not being dramatic, Samex, you are being honest.
Thank you for sharing your feelings.
You have captured in words, feelings that I too have experienced but have been unable to explain to family and friends.
My world changed dramatically, quickly and for a time I was lost. When I try to explain this quite often the words escape me.
My jigsaw is still missing a “few pieces” but in time will become a peaceful scene.
Be proud of yourself, your writing was wonderful.
Luv Reindeer xx
