I'm glad to hear that things are kinda improving.  As a 55 year old married man I understand how you feel. My wife and I definitely move well together. We have been together for only 22 years . We are at the point where having enough other in our lives is more important than us being in bed together.  We never had kids together but we do have 4 kids and 4 grandchildren.  I guess my point to this is that at some point in our life we  changed. I'm happy to hear that your husband is being supportive. My heart hurts for him.I thank God that I have lymphoma and not my wife    Have you found out what your treatments are going to be?  I'm finding that the day after chemo is not bad. But on the second day it's been a little challenging. I been able to keep working so far. I get chemo on a Wednesday by Friday morning I'm not feeling well when I wake up.  By Saturday I'm back to feeling better.  I plan on taking Friday off and work on Saturday to make up lost hours.  4 more treatments to go !!! Sass   Thanks for more information on your progress.  When was the last time you had a complete blood test done ? I would like to see what your white blood cell count is.  A year ago during a physical and blood work my white blood cells count was just .05 away from being high. I did a blood test 6 months later and it was still high but the doctor didn't seem to be worried.  Thinking that you may have cancer is harder than knowing you have it. Davo Sorry to hear about your brother.  Over 5 years ago we brought my mom to our house so she could finish her few months around family.  It's definitely not easy.  Fortunately my wife and I had enough other plus great help from the nurses. At the time I wasn't very close to my mom. I really wasn't even a good son either. Its a long story my I wasn't.  In the end I loved her. Sorry to hear about your husband. I hope he proves the doctors wrong.  During researching I found tons of people who was given months to live and have gone years and many that are way over 10 plus years . I think that your daughter having friends online is great. I meet my wife and many great friends in a chat room over 20 years ago.  I personally prefer to talk about my cancer with people online. When I'm with family and friends I try to avoid talking about it. If it does come up I tell everyone I'm doing great even I'm not really feeling well. My wife and I try our best to enjoy the time we have the people around us. Talking about cancer takes away the joy of the moment.  My wife and I really don't talk about it much.  I think its because so far I haven't had any problems with treatment so far.  I hope you have or find afew people that you can talk to openly about what you are feeling.  How is your husband treating you. Robyn    Glad to hear you are done with treatments.  I completely understand why your husband doesn't want to talk about the possibility of it coming back or not gone.  I'm so thankful that my wife isn't the one with cancer. I'm a firm believer that it's harder on our family than us. I have lymphoma. If it does come back after I'm done with my treatments it doesn't respond well to a second round of treatment. Sorry to hear that you are going through this.  I would research your cancer and the potential treatment. Take notes and ask questions. Just remember some react different to the treatments.  3 weeks ago I had my first treatment.  Only real side effect i had was a few days I was very tired. And this morning I noticed my hair is starting to fall off. Tomorrow I get my second treatment. Hopefully I have the same results. Treatment will be over meddle February.  I'm just getting chemo and 4 other meds for my lymphoma that is also just stage 2. Stay positive and strong. Barbara    Sorry no one was able to help you with some answers.  Just checking up on you to see how you are doing.  My aunt just found out she has breast cancer and will be going through what you have.  I have lymphoma . It's a blood cancer.  I'm more worried about her but she's more worried about me. She feels that once they removed both of her breast she's going to be fine. Sass   We all have gone through this waiting to find out what we had.. It took over a month to finally find out exactly what I have. Then I had to wait 3 weeks to get my first treatment.  I understand all your questions and concerns.  I thought the same way. I use the time to research all the possibilities. The doctors thought I had lymphoma after the first image . I had two lumps in my armpit. They removed them and did a biopsy on them . They had to send them to a different lab because my lymphoma is concerned rare.  After they figure out what it was.  More waiting to get more images and a bone narrow biopsy. More waiting for results.  I even drove 3 hours to get a image done so I wouldn't have to wait a week to have it done closer to me.  I hated weekends because I felt no one was working on finding out what I  have and how bad it was.  Some test results came back faster than others. A day felt like a week.  My wife and I did everything we could to stay positive.  Unfortunately as the test results started coming back it got harder. They found that I had a heart and lung problem on top of having cancer.  More tests and images were done. More waiting!!! Once things get started you probably will see things goes pretty quickly.   I'm very fortunate that my primary doctor has made things move quickly. Even though I was feeling like it was taking forever.  I hope you get some answers soon. Stay busy and enjoy every day like it's your last.  If you have to have treatment some people have bad side effects.  I just had my first one two weekends ago.  I'm very fortunate that the only side effects so far is I get tried quickly.  My best advice is don't let this bring you down and rob you from enjoying your life.
