Just a quick addit, my mind not working particularly normal at present, my tumor is classified as a t3 to t4 bowel cancer, sorry for confusion Today we are heading out to cancer institute for round two of ct and MRI and further tests that will help doctors to MAP exactly the size and content of tumor, Wish me luck Emma

On the 14th August, we were told the worst news that we really did not expect. I had been feeling a few discomforts over the past fours months, with a few incidents ( which I thought was food poisoning), but really thought this was only going to simple haemorrhoids to be honest. Thankfully we have a fabulous doctor, who was obviously in shock as much as we were, as no family history exists of this anywhere, who plans to look after the best way possible. Since then, over the past week I have subjected to a number of tests, from CT's,MRI's and blood tests coming out the wahoo.

Last night my fiance admitted to me that hes scared of dying in hospital... It just broke my hear into a million pie es... I broke down and cried.. It seemed to real.. I said i was scared to of being alone and that i wouldnt cope without him.. Im so frightend of the end, how will i cope when he passes etc? We dont have our own place and i so desperatly want to rent so we can be together properly but he says we cant afford i... Is there any career benefits i can get once wer married? I just feel like this is all getting to real and im starting to really think il never be "normal" again... :(

Hi everyone, Im new here so please understand if I make a few mistakes along the way. I am the Aussie residing partner of a fabulous man who resides in the US. He had just told me he has a recurrence of throat cancer. Being so far away from someone you love is hard enough, but to be told this makes it even harder.

My son has started having daily seizures since last thursday, last MRI 2 weeks ago showed a slow growing further into his brain thats why they cant operate, only small seizures. They started him on dex on sunday but he is still getting headaches not as bad as they were, but they are hammering him with morpine, he is so out of it.. anybody else had this experience sandra

Since my last blog in June my mother-in-law has been doing so well, she's really defying all expectations. She is bright and chirpy, her hair is even growing back in. She's abandoned some of her mobility aids and having less outside help at home. BUT, and its a big one, the weight keeps falling off her. At her visit with her GP today she had lost 5kg in 3 weeks and at least 10kg in the 2 months before that. She's eating well, though very small servings since the tumours in her liver are squashing her stomach space somewhat.
