Well that was day 1 of week 1 in the cycle. Have to say that it wasn't too bad during the process. But also have to say that it left me feeling very. very tired. So came home and had a sleep for a couple of hours. Am a little worried mind you, when I woke up I was feeling hot and so took my temp. It's up - 38.2! Not so good news for the first week. It's allowed to go up to 38.5 before I need to get worried so am monitoring it closely and keeping my fingers crossed. Last thing I want, now that I have made it into the trial, is to have something go wrong and get moved out of the trial

I am a 45 year old female diagnosed with Cancer of the Oesophagus in August after being ill for several months with doctors struggling to diagnose me and me becoming very weak and malnourished due to the inability to keep foods or liquids down. Sought another GP after the one I was seeing came out with the comment that if you feel dizzy go to A+E for them to put you on a drip. She seemed ot have no concerns that I was describing myself as an involuntary anorexic who had now lost 20kgs.

I found out today that I made it into the trial and will be doing the double drug chemo treatment. It was such a relief to hear that news, I broke out into tears of relief,joy and happiness. My wife did the same when I told her. Both us have found it really hard over the past 9 days, nothing was going in my favour.

I was diagnosed with minute Prostate cancer in 2005 by elevate PSA and biopsy. I chose Active Surveillance I had a second biopsy 12 mths later nothing found. I had one two years ago with triple the number of samples nothing. Since my first diagnosis Active Surveillance has become more popular and is being spoken of more as a treatment regime.

Hi, I have just begun back at work recently part time and due to restructure have been demoted with duties......its hard to get my head around. I once coordinated 2 contractors and liaised and trained 150 staff......now Im scanning documents into a photocopier. I get it that Im not full time yet and as such cannot deliver these duties/projects.....I understand this.
