The word has been thrown around like wildfire. Its Cancer. You have Cancer. The Cancer may spread. Sorry did I forget to mention, You Have Cancer? But hold on. I don't recognise this word. This word is not me. If I could describe myself in a word, it would be... happy. Or maybe that was my word and now I have a new one. I didn't pick this word but then again maybe it wasn't my choice.

Terrible traffic! All those school mums in mega-sized four-wheel drives picking up their progeny from exclusive private schools. Their erratic driving being between my oncologist and Dorovitch. Would I make it to the Dorovitch blood suckers before their due closing time of 4 pm. A quick glance at the back of the request form reveals that Dorovitch does not seem to inhabit the inner suburbs of Melbourne. Middle eastern suburbia here I come, if the mega-sized shopping buggies and school pick up conveyances will allow.

Hello everyone. My name is Ruairi and i am a 34 year old male living in Northern Suburbs in Melbourne. I was recently diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Follicular Lymphoma/Stage 4a and my bone marrow is involved as well. I underwent my first round of Chemotherapy yesterday and it was certainly a long day! About 2 months ago i was shaving to go to work and i noticed a lump on the upper left side of my neck. I didn't like the look of it and so i went to my local GP who referred me to have an ultra sound and bloodwork done.

So- have a chance to write....it has been a while. My darling husband has been out of radiotherapy for a month, has been undergoing acupuncture and taking chinese meds....and has been stronger, more alert and pain free for longer and longer periods of time. So- he goes for his scan in a week and then we find out if the radiation shrunk the tuomours in his spine.

After having ‘Leukaemia’ and 12 years of treatment, including a ‘Bone Marrow Transplant’, and then losing an aunt to ‘Breast Cancer’ I thought my fight was over. Then my wife heard this, Friday 8th October 2010. Meeting: at Peter MacCallum Cancer Institute, East Melbourne. Dr.: “So, in the right breast, the lump that we can see, the one that looks cystic and a bit solid, so the needle biopsy through the solid part of that shows Breast Cancer.”
