Having my last chemo on Tuesday hopefully only 2 more weeks of feeling like shit and life will return as it was before, or am I being to optimistic, is radation for the following 6 weeks going to be a walk in the park like they promised?

Tuesday was the day, when the all too familiar symptoms came back accompanied by the sick feeling in the stomach, the very same one which lead me to have a Hysterectomy to begin with and in turn result a tumour diagnosis.

Just when I think that everything is back 'under control' and I can 'relax' a bit........along comes another issue to deal with. We've been reducing Greg's 'dex' medication over a period of time with the aim being to get him off it altogether, it is causing him to lose muscle strength, a lot of bloating/stomach distention/fluid build up and is probably mostly responsible for Greg's high blood sugar level.

Hi All of a sudden I am sooo angry with this 'cancer' and what it has done to my life.....and what it continues to do....I was so positive a few days ago and now I sit here with angry tears wondering why? I think I need to stop working as this too is making me angry and leaving me dissatisfied each day. Maybe it will be a mistake but right this second I don't want to go back.

Yesterday i spent time with someone who has received not a great prognosis. The grace in which she lives her life aswell as her ability to laugh and enjoy what time she has left is admirable and inspritational. To sit with someone in a situation such as this and be able to laugh and then have frank discussions about life and death and the bit in between, was amazing. I am looking forward to the time when we will spend a w/e together and thats going to happen shortly.
