Picture not so perfect

Hi all, I hope you're all set to have a good weekend. I am having a little technical issue with the site - we've recently upgraded the platform to assist with preventing spammers/ general security but in the process we've developed a glitch with the profile images. Tests Tomorrow

Dropped in to say hello. Marked on my calendar 8th October is Mammogram/Ultrasound Test. It has been nearly 4yrs since my breast cancer surgery, a good milestone I feel. Whilst the mammogram does not capture my best angle 🙂 it gives me a sense of security having these tests done and I am quietly confident that everything is OK. I am allowing "two butterflies in my tummy instead of the masses I used to feel".

results

On Thursday i will get my results for my CT scan....all i can think is that something is there back in my body...but why am i worrying when i don't even know that that will be the case, i guess it's just so normal to think the worst immediately. If things are all good....all my tests will be cut back to once a month, which is great, but I'm feeling rejected by the world....life seemed easier in hospital and getting treatment...it might sound strange but i just can't seem to get my life back on track after cancer....

Help with reading and understanding test results

Hi all This site is one I have found extremely useful over the two and a half years I've (needed to be) interested in pathology tests. I can't remember how I found it, but I do know it wasn't via my hospital and medical team. TRIPLET GRANDSONS

Hello everyone, Our eldest daughter was just over 32 weeks pregnant today and she has given birth to 3 beautiful little boys. A single and identical twins. Brandon & Mason are the twins and Lincoln the single. Just thought that I would like to share this wonderful news.

Radiotherapy commences

Yesterday i had my first lot of cetuximab and i tolerated it quite well, apart from a couple of veins blowing before they finally found one. Next one they are going to double dose, not so sure about that. First round of radiotherapy today, so at least that is starting and means it will be closer to finishing.
