Hi @Bob58,
How are you and your partner doing today?
Are there any special things that your partner likes or liked doing? Perhaps something simple like a board game (I personally am partial to Scrabble and Triominoes!) or a book to read to him? Perhaps there's something on locally at the library or a museum that might interest him?
We also have a telephone support group for carer's that we run nationally, I think might be of interest to you. Shoot an email over to telephonesupportgroup@nswcc.org.au, just say Kate referred you - we all sit near each other here in the office. Sometimes talking to other carers can be the best thing, as they have either been or are in a similar situation to your own.
Cheers,
Kate

Hi @Nina6,
So very sorry to hear of your loss
How are you doing today?
We have a telephone support group especially for people who have lost a loved one to cancer that I think would be something that you might be interested in. It's a national program we run free-of-charge from NSW. If you think you'd like to find out more, shoot an email over to telephonesupportgroup@nswcc.org.au - just let them know that I (Kate) referred you, we all sit near each other in the office here
Sending hugs,
Kate

Hi @Danni1,
So sorry to hear of your fiance's diagnosis, that must have been such a shock to you both
How are yourself and your fiance doing this afternoon?
I am glad to hear he has been well with the treatment so far and hope that this is still the case.
Has anyone else had any experiences with this type of cancer that could assist Danni?
Danni, you would have received a welcome message from us when you joined - did you get information on our Telephone Support Groups? I really think they might be a good avenue for both yourself and your fiance - we have one specifically for carers and one for those with advanced cancer. Shoot an email over to telephonesupportgroup@nswcc.org.au if you want to find out a little bit more - just say Kate referred you, they sit right near me in the office
