Hello to you all in this world of cancer where we were immersed before the love of my life passed away on 27th July 2012. It has taken me this long to be able to write this. I was prompted to do so because I have just found out from my neighbour that his 22 year old darling girl has been diagnosed yesterday with cancer also.

😧 How long for this kind of life do I have? N: I hope you will have another 20 years... at least D: Don't be silly, you know what my question is. What did the people say I will live for? N: Oh.. ok 9-18 months. So based on what they told us, you have 5 months to go. You'd better prove them wrong. D: I believe I have at least 6 times 1 month. N: Isn't it easier to say 6 months? So the new Cancer council website has been developed. I think it is a major improvement on the old one. I have even been lucky enough to be a part of of the real stories module. I thought I would share the link I have added to my blog. I think that maybe there should be more real stories added. So 4 times to the emergency for a small bowel obstruction after 2 years being clear for stage 4 inoperable oesophageal cancer they decide to do a keyhole into my small bowel to see whats going on...wham bam there it is,a dirty big bit of cancer in my small bowel(well have to wait 10 days or so before the results come back but the surgeon was pretty confident it is cancerous)

Hi, had my first 3 month check up with oncologist yesterday. All o.k. he is happy that the Tamoxifen is not causing too much trouble. In a couple of weeks he wants me to start Zoladex, once monthly injections of a slow release capsule for the next 2 years. Has anyone out there taken this and how did you go?
