I had 32 lymph nodes removed from my abdominal area, since surgery I have had numbness in the front of my upper thigh and sharp stabbing pain in this area - yes I have told the doctors their reply is - it will probably get better. This is not happening and the more I try to use by legs the worse the pain gets - I mean to the point that it brings tears to my eyes, im so over it and not knowing how or what to do to improve it. If anyone has had a similar problem could you let me know how you went, I have been told that it is nerve irritation (still painful 14 weeks post op)

I haven't been online for a while, just trying to get back into a routine since Dad passed away..... I went back to work on 14.02.12 & there are days that I struggle to get thru...I always ask Dad to give me some "sunshine" 🙂 I miss him so much... I'm staying with Mum until Saturday & then my brother arrives for a few days, I'm looking fwd to going home & sleeping im my own bed...Lol...

It's very hard to navigate your way around this site when you're all fuzzied up from chemo! The Cisplatin is reeking hell with my poor ears but luckily enough the nausea has disappeared today! I am so grateful for my Mum at this time, she's helping with EVERYTHING I can't do...which is pretty much everything!! I've only had one round of chemo and this op on top of it...so I'm sure not every round will have me feeling like this! Anyway, fatigue...has settled in...

Well ive been back from my trip for just over a week now! and i still have horrible jet lag, tho i am enjoying the wee hours of the morning to myself. after caring for my dads every need for the last 6 months i feel out of the loop a bit. He has started eating puree and cereals again! which is great! and has put on about 11kg (9.5 more then when i left) my Motor Vehicle accident compensation is finally moving in to the "settlement" phase and coming to an end! But im now thinking about the big picture and what do i do next.
