I have reached the time where Iam between radiotherapy and surgery. I am resting as well as I can until the next lot of MRI and pet scans to see if the tumour has shrunk. Then there is surgery. I spent over a week in hospital during the last week of radiotherapy. My body had a bad reaction to the chemotherapy and I was very ill. Now I am slowly improving and off the strong pain killers. Well, we have now completed day 2 of radiation. Ben was great yesterday, very tired today, & a bit naseated. Reality hit, when I had to undress him & put him to bed tonight. This MRI found our terrible life changing news- A tumour that is the size of a golf ball & is in a terrible spot- right next to the thalamus & is growing down the brain stem.

Jenny had so much fight in her it was unbelievable. she faught right to the end but sadly was on her own as it was not expected this soon. i guess its a blessing as she was in so much pain in the end.
