Couldn't have got through the 2012 without all you wonderful bloggers. Wasn't able to get to counselling so thank you everyone. Whether you are caring for your loved one or now grieving, counselling through Palliative Care was amazing and got me on track. Remember, you can have Pall Care Counselling when you need it. I wish I had taken it earlier. My Kevin said no and I was happy to go along with that. He didn't fully understand what it was about. They could have also helped with things like filling out forms for Centrelink etc. Make life a bit easier and accept the help.

We are so very blessed & lucky to have had a small reprieve in our BT journey. But like all things, it never lasts long enough. Ben had his scan done last week & we found out on Friday, 2 days before his 36th birthday that it has grown. And unfortunately quite a bit. We go back to the discussions of funeral arrangements & videos for the kids. It's a saddening experience.

The details can be found through the Cancer Council . It would be a new experience for me . As I don't know anyone else attending I will only be doing the Survivors' Walk .

So totally in disbelief that cancer won the battle. We held a celebration of a great life last Tuesday for craigybaby but I just can't come to grips with it all. My husband is dead. Then 2 days following his service his mother dies. I can barely keep myself together and I have to focus on her and plan her service, etc. I am just so angry, bitter and frustrated. Never did she allow craig to shine....he was always pushed aside for his other siblings, never good enough. and now, even in death she usurps our grief. I can't believe I am so bitter. I miss him so.
